18 Apr XIPIXI launched at Merchants in Cape Town, South Africa
As Mozambique celebrated its National Women’s day on April 7th 2017, XIPIXI SA, its South Africa branch was celebrating yet another milestone for the brand, the official XIPIXI Cape Town launch. The elegant affair was held at Merchants on Long , Africa’s first concept store for luxury brands made in Africa.
The private event was attended by Cape Town fashion enthusiasts, friends and family of the brand, top models, entrepreneurs and loyal customers. The Consul of the Republic of Mozambique in Cape Town Mr. Cristovão Gemo and his wife were in attendance to commemorate the growth and expansion of the brand in South Africa. The launch was led by XIPIXI South Africa Co-Founder, Ms. Thokozile Mcopele while Creative Director António Macheve Jr. hosted the numerous guests in attendance in a fashionable manner.
The objective of the launch was to officially introduce the brand to the Cape Town market and make its latest collections of garments and accessories available at Merchants, the home of African luxury brands located at the heart of Cape Town on the famous and world known Long Street. The guests at the elegant function were pampered by the angelic voice of Cameroonian singer Ajo accompanied by melodies beautifully strummed by Cape Town-based Malawian guitarist Zane.
The photography captured by the attentive lens of photographer Andrew Gorman gracefully registered every moment enjoyed by the Xipixi family and guests.
XIPIXI wishes to express its gratitude to the following partners and local businesses for supporting the event and delivering high quality services: Merchants on Long, A Gorman Photography, Ajo & Zane, Anthonij Rupert Wines and Falco Milano.
